Interior Cleaning
Regular cleaning of the ice machine interior is necessary for maintaining ice quality and sanitary operations. Over time, minerals naturally present in water can form scale deposits while moisture can gradually allow bacteria and mold to develop.
Descaling helps remove mineral buildup that can interfere with proper freezing and reduce ice production. Sanitizing eliminates bacteria and mold growth, ensuring the ice produced is safe, clean, and free from odors.
The ice machine will give a notification on when to run the cleaning cycle. One bottle of descaler is included with the ice machine.
