“Three Meals” Battery Estimate
HyperCore is designed for everyday cooking on battery power. A typical meal for a family of four uses approximately 25% of the battery’s State of Charge (SOC). This is an estimate—actual consumption depends on the type of cooking:
- High‑power tasks (boiling water at 10 kW) consume more energy but only for short bursts.
- Maintaining temperature (simmering or keeping pans at 350°F) uses far less energy—usually 350–450 W.
Most customers finish an average cooking session at around 75–80% SOC.
Charging Times
HyperCore’s battery recharges quickly:
- 120V outlet: Approximately 2 hours (0–100%)
- 240V outlet: Approximately 1.5 hours
Amperage settings can influence charging speed, particularly if you choose to reduce the charging amperage under Settings > Power & Battery.
Storage Battery Discharge
When stored without power, the battery loses about 0.8–1% SOC per month.
Distribution partners should follow a first-in, first-out (FIFO) approach to ensure units are shipped within 8–12 months, preventing SOC from dropping below 20%.
Cooktops ship from the factory at 30% SOC to comply with transportation safety guidelines.
