HyperCore™ Troubleshooting Guide

If your cooktop isn’t working as expected, use the guide below to identify the issue and follow recommended solutions. If a problem persists after troubleshooting, our Customer Support team is here to help.


1. Cooktop Will Not Turn On

Possible CauseSolution
Tripped breakerCheck your home’s circuit breaker panel and reset the breaker.
Power supply disconnectedEnsure the cooktop is securely connected to wall power.
Battery is depletedConnect the cooktop to wall power for 5–10 minutes before trying again.
Battery not integrated properlyVerify installation matches the instructions. See Installation Manual, p. 21.
Cooktop not connected properlyConfirm the installation is correct. See Installation Manual, p. 21.
Electronics faultContact Customer Support.

2. Wi‑Fi Will Not Connect

Possible CauseSolution
VPN enabled on your phoneDisable the VPN and try connecting again.
Phone or tablet not updatedEnsure your device is running the latest software update.
QR scanning not enabledEnable QR code scanning in your device settings.

3. Cooktop Shows Unusual Responses / Cannot Be Operated

Possible CauseSolution
Electronics faultContact Customer Support.

4. Cooking Shuts Off Automatically

Possible CauseSolution
Preventing overheatingAllow the cooktop to cool before resuming.
Water or oil on the power buttonWipe the power button clean.
Hot cookware placed on displayRemove the item. Avoid placing hot cookware on the display.
Cookware not detectedEnsure cookware is induction‑compatible. See User Manual, p. 12.

5. Cooktop Turns Off While Cooking

Possible CauseSolution
Accidental power offAvoid touching the power button during use. Keep it clean and dry.
Water or oil on power buttonWipe the button clean.

6. “System Pause” Is Displayed

Possible CauseSolution
System check in progressNo action required. If paused for >5 minutes, contact Customer Support.

7. Fan Noise

Possible CauseSolution
Cooling fans automatically turning onNormal operation. Fan noise varies based on power level and internal temperature.
Fans stay on after cookingNormal. Fans may continue running to cool the system.
Insufficient ventilationEnsure proper ventilation. See Installation Guide, p. 13.

8. Cooktop Noise During Use

Some noise is normal—including buzzing, whistling, or crackling—especially with certain cookware.

Possible CauseSolution
Cookware characteristics (thin base, multilayer, lightweight, etc.)Lower the power level or use induction‑appropriate cookware. See User Manual, p. 12.
Pan clicking due to power cyclingUse cookware better suited for induction.
Debris in cooktop fansEnsure installation follows instructions. Fans should not be exposed. See Installation Manual, p. 13.

9. Power Level Does Not Increase

Possible CauseSolution
Unsuitable cookwareUse cookware appropriate for induction. See User Manual, p. 12.
Cooktop reached 15 kW maximum outputReduce total active cooking zones or lower power settings.
Overheating or limited airflowAllow the cooktop to cool and check ventilation.
Pan heating unusually or excessivelyReduce power level. Use better‑suited cookware.

10. Temperature Mode: Cannot Reach Set Temperature

Possible CauseSolution
New technology learning curveHyperCore continues ongoing improvements.
Boiling/simmering in Temperature ModeUse Power Mode instead for best results.
Unsuitable cookwareUse induction‑appropriate cookware. See User Manual, p. 12.

11. Temperature Reading Seems Inaccurate

Possible CauseSolution
Unsuitable cookwareSwitch to cookware designed for induction cooking.
Liquid or material between cookware and surfaceClean and dry both surfaces. Do not use silicone pads.
Poor contact with temperature sensorLift and reposition the pan. Avoid sliding cookware.
Normal variabilitySome variation is expected. HyperCore updates continue improving accuracy.
Temperature sensor dirty or damagedSee cleaning instructions in User Manual, p. 25.

12. Food Is Under‑ or Over‑Cooked

Possible CauseSolution
Improper cookwareUse induction‑ready cookware. See User Manual, p. 12.
Cookware not positioned correctlyCenter and reseat the cookware.
Boiling/simmering in Temperature ModeUse Power Mode for these cooking tasks.

13. Food Is Not Cooking Evenly

Possible CauseSolution
Unsuitable cookwareUse cookware with a flat, fully magnetic base.
Cookware not positioned correctlyCenter cookware and reseat.
Liquid/material between pan and cooking surfaceClean and dry both surfaces before cooking.

14. Display Not Responding or Frozen

Possible CauseSolution
Software error1. Attempt to turn on using the power button. 
2. If unresolved, wait for the cooktop to cool, then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds for a forced restart.

15. Unexpected or Burnt Smell

Possible CauseSolution
Overheated componentTurn off Unit and contact Customer Support immediately.

16. Scratches on Cooktop Surface

Possible CauseSolution
Improper cleaning methodsUse recommended cleaning procedures. See User Manual, p. 25.
Wear and tear from cookware movementAlways lift cookware—avoid dragging. Never place cookware on the display.
