Symptom What is happening? Possible Solution
Not cooling Flashing light next to “R” on display control panel

Disable the Demonstration Mode. Please see your manual on how to disable Demonstration Mode for your model

Beeping and/or flashing “00” in display

This error code means the door has been left open for an extended period of time. Check for the door magnet located at the bottom of door to ensure the magnet is aligned correctly with the sensor on the toe kick. The magnet will need to be moved to the bottom of the door if the door hinge was reversed

“HI” in display

 

 

 

 

 

Attempt power reset for 10 minutes by turning off breaker or unplugging unit, and monitor if another code is displayed. 
If the unit is still not cooling after reset, please contact Zephyr Technical Support

The unit flashing an “E(x)”

error code

Unit is cooling but display AND lights are not working Pressing the buttons on the display doesn’t change anything

Your unit is in Sabbath Mode. Sabbath mode disables system responses to user-initiated activities and all external functions, including lighting, display and audible alarms. The unit will still maintain internal temperatures and set points.

 

Please see your user manual to disable Sabbath Mode.

Cooler noisy

The unit makes gurgling sound when closing the door

 

This is normal operation, as the unit equalizes it pulls air in through the condensates drain cup/tube
The unit is making an intermittent whirring noise  This is normal operation, and part of our Active Cooling System

Unit makes a chirping sound

 Please contact Zephyr Technical Support

 

Unit sounds like it is ticking, clicking, or “cards in a bicycle wheel spoke”

Perform 12 hour reset by turning off breaker or unplugging unit
Check door seals and door for proper closure
If issue continues, please contact Zephyr Technical Support
Condensation The unit is condensating on the outside of the door glass

This is normal operation, try temporarily raising the temp in the unit a few degrees, or lower the humidity level in home.

The condensation is  between the dual glass panes

The door window pack seals are compromised.

The condensation on the inside of the door glass

 

Check door seal integrity and proper door closure.
If condensation still forms on inside of door glass, please contact Zephyr Technical Support
The unit won’t power up Unit won’t turn off or on after pressing the power button

Press and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds. Once unit is on, adjust temperatures to preference and enjoy.
